The sculpted geometric form and vertical emphasis of double height glazing create an elegant streetscape.
The interiors are meticulously detailed and refined, befitting the rigorous geometry of the architecture while maintaining the timeless and classic aesthetic.
Intricate craftsmanship and material selection are evident upon entry through the steel framed doors into the lobby of honed limestone floors and venetian plaster walls enhanced by careful use of timber and aged bronze.
Responding to the client brief to maximise natural light and green outlooks, the spaces within the home are delineated by floor to ceiling glazing overlooking landscaped terraces and courtyards.
The use of polished venetian plaster walls was a strategic move to reflect the manicured landscape whilst rebounding light into the interior spaces. This seamless unity between the indoor and outdoor creates calming aesthetic layers while enhancing privacy.
The embracing and functional central familial gathering zone ties the home and its inhabitants. The warmth and richness of materials that emanates from the living spaces and adjoined kitchen creates spaces that naturally draw the family and their guests.
Restraint and carefully detailed materials and finishes tie this home together. The timeless aesthetic and cohesiveness of form and space will be as embraced and appreciated now by our clients as it will be in the years to come.
A mixture of iconic furniture pieces in natural woven fabrics and silk as well as Australian artworks were carefully selected to further enhance and layer the materiality and liveable sense of luxury in each space.

Accordingly, the spaces within the home are complemented by the outdoors through glazed openings, skylights, courtyards and terraces. Carefully detailed use of natural materials, predominantly stone, timber, bronze and glass were also central in achieving the vision."
